Angela W. Russell is the Managing Partner of the Baltimore office and a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office. She has significant trial experience and concentrates primarily on the defense of medical malpractice actions on behalf of insurance companies, health maintenance organizations and individual physicians as well as other health care related issues. Angela also handles a variety of general liability matters.
She served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Pamela G. Alexander, Hennepin County District Court, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. Additionally, she worked at prominent defense firms in Minnesota and in Washington, D.C. prior to joining Wilson Elser.
Angela has served as the co-chairperson of the Civil Jury Instructions Committee for District of Columbia. She has also been a speaker at several seminars relating to medical malpractice and other areas of insurance defense, including a presentation on "How to Litigate a Medical Malpractice Case" for the District of Columbia Bar Association.
