Steven L. Young is Partner in the White Plains office.  His legal practice focuses on the defense of non-medical professionals and employers.  He also represents insurers in connection with the analysis of coverage and the assessment of claims under various types of policies including directors and officers, employment practices, insurance company E&O, fidelity bond and various other professional liability policies.  Steve is responsible for two national claims hotlines responding to pre-claim inquiries from various professionals, individuals and employers by providing advice on claim avoidance strategies. 

During the course of his career at Wilson Elser, Steve has conducted regular audits of a large insurance brokerage firm and audited a legal malpractice insurance program for its reinsurers.  He has also participated in other audits of general liability and professional liability files.
