Robert C. Neff, Jr. is Of Counsel in the New Jersey office. He served a judicial clerkship with U.S. District Court Judge William G. Bassler from 1991 to 1992, and joined Wilson Elser in 1994.
His practice centers on defending general negligence, product liability, defective construction, civil rights, architectural and engineering malpractice, commercial, and professional negligence litigation. He has tried cases to verdict and has won summary judgment motions resulting in published decisions in pharmaceutical liability and civil rights cases. For several years before attending law school, he was a newspaper reporter.
In 1998, he won the American Bar Association's Bert W. Levit national writing competition on professional responsibility. In 2004 he was appointed to the Planning Board of the Town of Little Silver. He was appointed in 1995 to the New Jersey Tidelands Resource Council by then-Governor Christie Whitman.
