We have experience representing clients in the areas of mortgage and construction loan transactions; office, commercial and ground lease transactions; acquisition and disposition of all types of commercial real estate properties; real estate loan work-outs and loan restructuring transactions; foreclosure proceedings and sales, all aspects of landlord and tenant law and environmental review and remediation issues.

Additionally, with respect to zoning and land use matters, Wilson Elser attorneys have worked with clients in all phases of the site plan, subdivision and zoning variance processes for parties seeking municipal approvals in connection with the development of, but not limited to, office parks, shopping centers, senior housing developments, residential subdivisions and golf courses. We guide clients through the permit application procedures of municipalities, as well as the often complex environmental reviews accompanying such approval processes.

We also represent municipalities as the attorneys for planning and zoning boards in reviewing land use proposals. In this capacity we have also assisted municipalities in drafting appropriate land use ordinances and regulations. When necessary, Wilson Elser attorneys have provided their substantial experience as litigators in representing clients before state and federal courts in matters related to a wide variety of real estate disputes, including zoning and land use controversies.
