Aram Bloom Joins Wilson Elser’s Miami Office
Commercial attorney moves practice to national law firm
MIAMI (April 4, 2017) – National law firm Wilson Elser announced that Aram Bloom has joined the firm’s Miami office as a partner.
Bloom focuses his practice in health care transactions and licensing, business litigation and dispute resolution. He also has experience in general governmental and regulatory litigation with insurers and government agencies; commercial litigation matters, including complex intellectual property litigation; and representation of health care entities in licensing and regulatory disputes.
As a commercial litigator, Bloom’s practice spans a broad range of industries, representing corporate and individual clients in jury and non-jury civil litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He also serves as outside general counsel to businesses in health care and related industries, including assisted-living and rehabilitation and recovery facilities and providers across the alternative medicine and anti-aging industries.
Bloom’s experience includes litigation of federal civil rights claims, white-collar criminal investigations, health care licensing applications and appeals, trade secret disputes, and SEC and state regulatory examinations.
“Aram’s practice complements Wilson Elser’s strong national Medical Malpractice & Health Care practice,” said Anthony Strasius, regional managing partner of the firm’s South Florida offices. “Aram’s experience and skill set bolsters the firm’s ability to represent clients on both sides of the business – corporate/business and risk mitigation/liability.”
Fluent in Spanish, Bloom acts as a cultural representative for clients headquartered in Spain and Latin America, providing guidance on establishing U.S. operations.
Prior to entering private practice, Bloom was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald R. Lagueux of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island and a judicial intern to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Bloom also will be working out of the firm’s West Palm Beach office. His complete profile is available on the firm website.
