ANSI

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will soon adopt new guidelines that will greatly affect the way manufacturers, in nearly all industries, design and formulate safety information in product manuals and related literature. Failing to meet the new ANSI standard can potentially be damaging to a manufacturer’s defense of a products liability claim.  Manufacturers will need to review the new standards carefully in developing their safety literature.
