Alexandra M. Adams

Alexandra Adams represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of complex civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of general liability and transportation claims. Alexandra adeptly manages client matters from inception through resolution by settlement, dispositive motion, trial, mediation, or arbitration.

Alexandra has considerable experience representing insurers, third-party administrators, and various insureds in transportation and trucking litigation involving accident and cargo claims, with an emphasis on rapid response to trucking accidents, early investigation, and strategic claims management. She guides clients through all stages of litigation from pre-suit evaluations to trial preparation, using a proactive, results-driven approach.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Alexandra gained valuable experience at a regional litigation firm specializing in personal injury defense. Following law school, Alexandra served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eric B. Schumacher of the New York State Supreme Court, Civil Branch, New York County. In that role, Alexandra facilitated trials, participated in settlement conferences and court-guided mediations, and managed case conferencing throughout all stages of discovery. She also drafted analyses of dispositive motions, including those involving New York Labor Law and other general liability issues, experience that has equipped her well for a career defending general liability claims.
