Allison Townes represents corporate clients in civil litigation, with a focus on defending claims involving personal injury, premises liability, and other complex liability matters.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Allison represented businesses and individuals through all stages of civil litigation, from initial pleadings and discovery through dispositive motions, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation. She has experience evaluating liability, damages, and litigation risk and developing strategies to protect her clients’ interests and achieve favorable outcomes.
During law school, Allison worked on matters involving elder, health, mental hygiene, and disability law, including issues of capacity, due process, and access to legal protections. That experience strengthened her client-centered approach to advocacy and her ability to navigate sensitive and high-stakes legal issues.

Third-Party Crime Litigation
Allison defends private security companies in litigation arising from third-party criminal acts, including mass shootings, officer-involved shootings, deaths in custody, crisis response matters, and corporate incident investigations. Her experience also includes assisting with litigation involving a leading business services company that provides security and related services to Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States and Canada.
