Amy Choe represents companies in employment disputes and defends against professional liability claims brought against attorneys and accountants. Amy also assists the firm's Office of General Counsel with respect to internal investigations, risk management, and compliance matters.
Amy leverages her skill set gained from litigating a wide array of cases in addition to employment matters. She has previously defended international law firms and accounting firms involved in complex civil litigation matters. In this capacity, Amy assisted employers in a broad range of industries, such as hospitality, transportation, property management, and health care, that face discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims. She also has experience bringing and defending trade secret claims.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Amy practiced management-side employment defense at two prominent national firms, including one of the nation's preeminent labor and employment boutiques representing and counseling employers.
While in law school, Amy was an extern for the Honorable Barry Russell at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and a law clerk for a Los Angeles–based law firm. With native-level fluency in both English and Korean, Amy is capable of advising Korean businesses in pre-litigation, litigation, and counseling matters.
