Anjali Das (Partner-Chicago, IL) will join a panel on “Existing and Emerging Cyber Risk in the Medical Industry” at the 2021 PLUS Healthcare & MedPL Symposium to be held May 11–12, 2021, in a virtual format. Health care organizations are subject to stringent laws and regulations requiring them to maintain the privacy and security of their data, as they are faced with increased attacks from cyber criminals. Anjali will discuss the cyber risks health care organizations face, the duties they have to protect the security of data and the consequences for failure to fulfill these obligations, as well as mechanisms available to assist health care organizations in managing their cyber security risks. The session offers CE/CLE credit.
