Ashley Travaglione represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of general and complex liability matters in New York state courts. She brings substantial courtroom experience to her civil practice from her former work as a prosecutor, including trials, evidentiary hearings, and grand jury presentations. Ashley’s firsthand experience with accident scene investigations and serious vehicular cases provides valuable insight into evaluating liability, causation, and damages in high-exposure motor vehicle and personal injury claims.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Ashley served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office in Staten Island, New York. During her tenure, she prosecuted a wide range of criminal matters and ultimately served as Deputy Chief of the Vehicular Unit, where she handled cases involving reckless driving, driving under the influence, and vehicular homicide. In that role, she regularly responded to accident scenes involving serious injury or death and worked closely with law enforcement during the early stages of investigations.

In law school, Ashley served on the editorial board of the Moot Court Honor Society as competition editor, overseeing intramural competitions and organizing and hosting a national competition. That experience strengthened the research, writing, and oral advocacy skills she brings to her practice.
