Alexandra Manfredi Associate




Alexandra Manfredi represents and advises employers on a broad range of employment and labor law matters. She represents employers in federal and state court litigation, and before administrative agencies in a variety of matters arising from the employment relationship, including discrimination and retaliation, harassment, whistleblower claims, wage and hour, unfair labor practices, restrictive covenants, and employment-related tort and contract disputes. Alexandra also defends employers and individuals against claims of sexual harassment in the workplace and the educational environment.

Alexandra counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship from hire through separation. She assists employers with the daily management of employment issues and routinely counsels on best practices and compliance with the many federal, state, city and local laws governing the workplace. As part of her counseling practice, Alexandra reviews and prepares policies, handbooks, onboarding and training materials, employment agreements and restrictive covenants.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra represented employees and small businesses at a boutique labor and employment firm in pre-suit negotiations, litigation and administrative agency proceedings.

In law school, Alexandra served as editor in chief of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law. She also served as research assistant for constitutional law scholar Marci A. Hamilton, Esq., assisting on scholarship and litigation regarding Title VII and the Religion Clauses of the First Amendment.
