Blair K. Walsh Of Counsel

Blair Walsh represents companies and individuals in products liability, premises liability and toxic tort matters. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Blair spent 10 years prosecuting and defending catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. She has represented clients in a wide variety of matters involving claims of medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, general negligence, governmental tort liability, professional liability, breach of contract and consumer fraud. Blair has gained valuable experience in every stage of the litigation process, successfully resolving cases through mediation and arbitration, and serving on the trial teams for jury trials in seven different counties throughout the State of California.

Prior to entering private practice, Blair clerked for the Honorable James P. Kleinberg (Ret.) at the Santa Clara County Superior Court and the Honorable Conrad L. Rushing (Ret.), Presiding Justice of the Sixth District Court of Appeal.

Over the years, Blair has been active in the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) and its new lawyers division, Barristers Club, with nearly 3,000 members in their first 10 years of practice. From 2013 to 2016, Blair sat on the Barristers Club’s Board of Directors, serving as its president in 2016. As a result of her contributions to BASF and her dedication to encouraging professionalism in the practice of law, the Bar Association of San Francisco presented her with the Barrister of the Year award in 2010.

Currently, Blair sits on the San Francisco Law Library’s Board of Trustee and the Board of Directors of the UCSF Partners in Care, and serves as the co-chair of BASF’s Women’s Equality Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco (JDC), which provides pro bono legal services to low-income individuals and educational programs designed to encourage diversity in the legal profession.

Blair has been named one of Northern California's "Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2013, an honor based on a peer review process and available to only 2.5% of California attorneys in their first 10 years of practice.  The National Trial Lawyers named her one of the "Top 40 Under 40" in 2016 and one of California’s “Top 25 Mass Tort Trial Lawyers” in 2017.
