Catherine L. Davis Associate




Catherine Davis represents leading insurance carriers and their insureds on various matters involving premises liability, general liability, products liability, complex tort, toxic tort, trucking/transportation, construction defect, employment liability and professional liability. She has significant experience in all aspects of these matters, including pre-suit work, litigation, trials and appeals. In addition, Catherine handles and advises on data breach and ransomware matters in regard to cybersecurity incidents, including forensic analysis, necessary notification, regulatory compliance and potential third-party claims.

Catherine has experience defending claims under the Defense Base Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, War Hazards Compensation Act and general maritime matters.

Catherine also serves as a guardian ad litem in Miami Dade County. While completing her legal education, she participated in trial competitions where she acquired valuable skills and knowledge of the trial process. 

Catherine is the daughter of a retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel and has lived in multiple countries and states, which has helped her handle matters arising in other jurisdictions.
