Christen J. McGlynn Associate




Christen McGlynn focuses her practice primarily in the areas of general liability, transportation, toxic tort and commercial litigation. She also has experience with professional liability matters and insurers in connection with directors and officers liability and insurance coverage. 

Christen gained significant experience in a wide variety of practice areas and all facets of the litigation process as a law clerk at Wilson Elser throughout law school. She also gained valuable experience as an extern for the Honorable Judge Elizabeth M. Budzinski in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Christen volunteered at the Veteran’s Legal Support Center and Clinic at the John Marshall Law School where she provided assistance to veterans who were improperly denied benefits by the Veterans Benefits Administration or in need of a military discharge upgrade. While working at the Veteran’s Clinic, Christen was responsible for assigning cases to her colleagues, developing case strategies and drafting legal memoranda. 

Throughout law school, Christen was an active member of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Board. She was awarded the position of Presiding Barrister in her final semester, and was responsible for overseeing the entire program. Christen competed in numerous mock trials on a national level against law schools across the country. She was nominated by her professors and subsequently inducted into the Order of Barristers for her exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy and brief writing. In her spare time, Christen is a trial team coach at John Marshall.
