Daniel Fix represents commercial entities and municipal governments through a range of services, including business dispute resolution, transactions, contracts and agreements, real estate litigation and labor and employment matters. He serves as outside general counsel for a commercial real estate procurement consultancy, negotiated and drafted LLC agreements, prepared consultancy/marketing agreements, assisted in the private issuance of equity securities, and handled numerous employment and benefits matters. In his municipal practice, Dan has focused on liability, employment liability and real estate−based litigation.

As clients increasingly look to work with integrated “teams,” Dan leverages Wilson Elser’s dynamic operating model, drawing on the collective experience and resources of the entire firm in realizing desired legal outcomes. He regularly accesses centralized resources and firmwide talent to achieve innovative and cost-effective resolutions to the most complex legal issues.

A native of South Africa, Dan has lived in several countries around the world, broadening his perspectives and giving him a feel for the challenges of international business. Prior to law school, Dan worked in Washington D.C. for the leading trade association for the software industry and developed a talent for advocacy as a legal advocate for the YWCA Domestic Violence Legal Center in Harrisburg, PA. During law school, Dan was a judicial intern for the Honorable Shirley Werner Kornreich, J.S.C. New York State Supreme Court, New York County and represented low-income clients before the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board of Appeals as a certified legal intern with the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic. Before joining Wilson Elser, Dan worked at a prominent boutique commercial litigation firm in New York City.
