Daniel Oren Associate

Daniel Oren represents individuals and organizations in a variety of complex legal matters in federal and state courts. His practice is focused primarily on insurance coverage and defense litigation, and he has gained considerable experience representing carriers in coverage disputes related to underlying construction defect claims. Notably, Daniel recently helped defend a local transit entity in a multimillion-dollar breach of contract case. In addition, Daniel maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration matters.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Daniel worked for a local mid-size firm focusing primarily on general liability insurance defense litigation. During law school, he clerked for a financial elder abuse firm in San Francisco and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William H. Alsup at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, where he worked on several high-profile cases and drafted numerous published decisions.
