Daniel Wolberg is a versatile defense attorney with diverse civil litigation experience ranging from general, premises and construction liability claims to employment-related causes of action to asbestos toxic tort matters in state and federal court.
Currently Daniel’s practice primarily is focused on the defense of hotels, restaurants and bars, riverboat casinos, and professional sports teams in premises liability lawsuits arising from slip-and-fall, foodborne illness, Dram Shop, sexual assault and other such claims. Daniel handles cases from inception to trial, drafting and responding to pleadings and written discovery, taking and defending party and expert depositions, preparing and arguing substantive motions, participating in pre-trial conferences and mediations, conducting settlement negotiations, and handling trial preparation.
Daniel honed his advocacy and investigative skills while working prior to and during law school for the Chicago Police Department Office of Professional Standards. In this capacity, he conducted independent investigations of alleged excessive force by police officers and advocated on behalf of the Department in disciplinary hearings for officers accused of misconduct.
