Debbie Tama represents European insurers, reinsurers, manufacturers and other entities in litigation and other forms of dispute resolution in the United States. She handles product liability defense, first- and third-party insurance disputes, and other complex litigation. In addition, Debbie assists Europeans seeking to grow their businesses in the United States in navigating risk and other challenges. She provides vigorous, experienced legal representation, fostering relationships with U.S.-based business partners, distributors or insurers. 

Representative Matters

Represented a German private equity company in a dispute over a failed joint venture.

Handled a number of insurance disputes arising out of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, one of which included mediation proceedings before former U.S. Senator George Mitchell, which resulted in a settlement to facilitate the redevelopment of Ground Zero.

Represented an Austrian manufacturer of the funicular train in three class action lawsuits brought in the United States regarding wrongful death.
