Elvia Hague practices in the area of general civil litigation, primarily defending labor and employment law related matters, construction defect, catastrophic injury, premises liability, dangerous premises conditions, negligent hiring, training and supervision, personal injury, survival and wrongful death actions, and general negligence cases. Elvia has experience in all aspects and stages of litigation through trial.

Elvia has considerable experience in the area of employment and labor law, including claims brought under state law fair employment practices statutes, in addition to tort and contract claims. She has represented employers in connection with claims pending before administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Texas Commission on Human Rights. Her fluency in Spanish often proves to be an asset in her cases.

Elvia also has experience representing life, health and disability insurers in litigation matters throughout Texas in state and federal courts, under ERISA and state law claims. This includes representing clients in state and federal courts in litigation involving ERISA and non-ERISA disputes over disability, life and health coverage.
