Gina Wischhusen focuses her practice on commercial litigation and civil litigation, primarily focusing on general liability matters including claims related to commercial trucking, premises liability, product liability and labor law matters, and claims involving violations of OSHA and FLSA. She has extensively represented one of the largest commuter railroads in the country and defended national retailers and property owners, as well as assisting companies in obtaining M/WBE certification. Gina is OSHA-10 certified, providing her with a unique perspective in defending claims alleging violations of the New York State Labor Law.
In addition to litigation, Gina has extensive experience reviewing and interpreting insurance policies with respect to risk transfer issues and issues involving indemnification and additional insured status.
Gina helps clients deal with complex litigation matters from inception through disposition. She has successfully drafted and argued numerous summary judgment motions, dismissing the claims asserted against her client at the earliest stage of litigation possible.
During law school, Gina was a legal intern in the New York State Office of the Attorney General.

Gina routinely defends general contractors, subcontractors and owners involving catastrophic injury claims in matters involving New York State Labor Law sections 240(1), 241(6) and 200, using a unique perspective in defending these matters, as she has OSHA-10 safety certification.
