Hannah F. Joly Associate

Hannah Joly defends clients in all aspects of complex civil litigation and negligence-based lawsuits in New York state and federal courts. She handles construction accident, aviation, premises liability and security, and product liability matters involving personal injury and property damage claims. As an adjunct to her firm responsibilities, Hannah prioritizes pro bono work in conjunction with the firm's extensive program designed to help ensure universal access to the legal system, especially among those who are poor or otherwise marginalized.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Hannah worked at a small civil litigation law firm where she honed her skills on multiple successful summary judgment motions and secured settlements that benefitted her clients. She completed her undergraduate education in two years and attended an accelerated law school. Hannah is a long-time volunteer at The Innocence Project, a 501 nonprofit legal organization committed to exonerating individuals who it claims have been wrongly convicted, and working to reform the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
