Helmut Beron focuses his legal practice on architects' and engineers' professional liability defense, construction legal advice and litigation and insurance coverage issues.
Helmut supervises and actively litigates and arbitrates various construction-related matters for clients from both the private and public sectors and their insurers. He focuses on multiparty contract disputes, defective construction claims, property damage claims, personal injury claims, design and engineering matters, environmental claims and related insurance coverage disputes. Helmut also provides advice and counsel to numerous architects, engineers, construction managers, contractors, developers, owners, and public authorities and their insurers, and occasionally lectures on various construction-related topics. A licensed architect himself, Helmut has actively participated in phases of a national architectural and engineering practice, including the design of varied building types and structures. He also participated in the design and development of unique long span structures, including proprietary patented structural systems and numerous space frame structures that are located throughout the United States.
