Inderjit S. Dhami Associate

Inderjit Dhami focuses his practice in the areas of construction liability, transportation and general liability cases. Inderjit is a member of Wilson Elser’s National Trial Team and has achieved certification in the firm’s rigorous National Mock Trial Program, through which our most successful trial lawyers impart their knowledge to those destined to join their ranks. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, he worked in-house for two insurance carriers, primarily handling no-fault and bodily injury defense litigation. During law school, Inderjit interned at the Bronx County Supreme Court, the Legal Aid Society and for a major U.S. insurance company.

Inderjit’s studies at King’s College in London gave him a strong grounding in English Common Law and European Law. In 2010, on behalf of the Commonwealth of Nations, an intergovernmental organization consisting of 54 independent member states (most of which are former British colonies), Inderjit led research seeking to reform national media laws to meet international standards of freedom of speech. He also authored advocacy papers for the 2009 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting regarding the need for stronger enforcement of human rights standards as a condition to admission to the Commonwealth of Nations.
