Jennifer Brody has significant experience representing clients in a broad range of workplace-related cases, including breach of employment contract, discrimination and harassment, violations of disability and medical leave laws, wage-and-hour claims, and workplace torts such as defamation and wrongful termination in violation of public policy.  In addition, Jennifer defends claims of fraud and professional negligence, premises liability and personal injury. She has extensive experience handling law and motion practice in state and federal court and in arbitrations.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Jennifer practiced at a plaintiff-side employment litigation firm. During law school, she interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. Jennifer also has pro bono experience assisting litigants in filing for conservatorships at Bet Tzedek Legal Services Conservatorship Clinic.

Jennifer is experienced in litigating employment law matters on behalf of employees and large companies in a broad range of cases, including breach of employment contract, discrimination and harassment, violation of disability and medical leave laws, violation of wage-and-hour laws, misclassification of employees, and workplace torts such as wrongful termination in violation of public policy. Jennifer also has represented employees in class action cases against large employers asserting discrimination claims and wage-and-hour claims.

Fair Housing & Discrimination
Jennifer has defended landlords and property management companies against claims of housing discrimination under state and federal fair housing and employment laws.

Counseling & Training
Jennifer has experience advising companies and public agency employers on a wide range of personnel issues, including employee classification, compliance with wage-and-hour laws and paid sick leave laws, and promulgation of sound personnel policies and manuals.

General Liability
Jennifer has defended premises liability matters for hotels, commercial property owners and public agencies in cases ranging from slip-and-fall claims to negligent roadway design and construction claims.
