Jennifer M. Provost is a trial attorney with 15 years of experience in torts litigation. Jennifer helps clients identify and prevent exposures, and should they occur, capably manage reaction and recovery and mitigate risks while advancing business objectives. Her goal is to contain exposure through risk, crises, and claims and litigation management, and scrupulously focus on every detail in preparing to defend her clients, whether attempting to resolve a claim or prepare for trial.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Jennifer was associate counsel with Consolidated Edison of New York, Inc., taking many successful jury verdicts in venues within New York City. Her extensive trial experience also includes defending the New York City Transit Authority in Bronx County, where she obtained nearly 20 defense verdicts. Jennifer’s reputation led her to the position of senior trial attorney with a multinational finance and insurance corporation with operations in more than 80 countries and jurisdictions. There she litigated high-exposure and complex matters, including severe burns, fatalities and dismemberment cases.
The ability to review a case and quickly determine the measures necessary to obtain a successful outcome is a skill Jennifer has refined over the course of her career, and one she hopes will continue to benefit the firm as she represents its clients in the area of complex torts.
