Jesse LaFlamme handles commercial and complex tort litigation, with emphasis on general liability and product liability, as well as insurance coverage and insurance coverage litigation, involving first-party property and third-party liability insurance policies.
Jesse has experience working in law firms and for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Corporations Division. He also has experience in elder law, probate practice, business transactions, tax issues, legal research, drafting contracts, compliance and estate planning.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Jesse provided counsel to long-term care facilities in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire and pursued claims and guardian and conservator appointments through the courts. He also served as Staff Attorney for the state of Massachusetts where he was responsible for reviewing filings of all business entities for compliance with relevant state corporate laws. Prior to that, Jesse was a tax associate for an estate planning firm.
Jesse began his legal career in 2016 after spending the first 10 years of his professional life working in billing and financial roles for several large law firms in Boston. He attended law school at night while working full-time as a billing coordinator. This vast experience taught Jesse to work well in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and responsibilities.
