Jonathan A. Emdin Associate




Jonathan Emdin represents established businesses, municipalities and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Jonathan's practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, municipal liability, personal injury, construction and pattern litigation.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Jonathan gained experience working for a general practice firm handling insurance defense, products liability, civil litigation, construction litigation, social security disability and criminal defense matters.

While in law school, Jonathan served as a certified intern with the Marion County, Indiana, Prosecutor's Office, where he gained trial experience prosecuting major felony cases and financial crimes. Jonathan also contributed to pro-bono efforts with the Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic for which he served as chairman. The clinic received the 2013 Indiana Governor's Service Award for its dedication to the underserved communities in Indianapolis.

Jonathan served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Justice Richard Lee Price, New York State Supreme Court, Bronx County, and as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Cynthia J. Ayers, Indiana Superior Court, Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition, Jonathan served an externship with New York City Law Department Family Court researching juvenile justice initiatives.
