Joe Wodarski is a civil litigator with wide-ranging experience defending personal injury and property damage claims. Whether he is defending a product liability matter or a construction-related case, Joe handles all phases of litigation up to and including trial and appeal in New York state and federal courts. He also has experience supervising national client engagements.

A significant portion of Joe’s practice focuses on the defense of product liability claims involving machinery and chemicals as well as toxic tort matters arising from exposure to benzene and other such substances. He currently defends a national manufacturer of household chemicals in all of its accidental ingestion and other toxic tort claims filed in New York courts.

Joe also has handled numerous personal injury cases under New York Labor Law and property damage claims arising from building renovation and construction projects. Over the years, he has developed particular experience in elevator malfunction and accident cases.

 In the general liability area, Joe has handled numerous personal injury matters arising from vehicular crashes, slip-and-falls and other such incidents. He currently has primary responsibility for coordinating the firm’s representation of a national food service and facilities provider in all types of general liability and accessibility claims involving nursing homes, ball parks, universities, prisons and other facilities.

Joe’s extensive experience before state and federal appellate courts encompasses a wide array of issues across all areas of his practice. He has prepared and argued appeals before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Appellate Divisions of New York’s First, Second and Third Departments.
