Kelly Beth LaPar Of Counsel




Kelly LaPar has more than a decade of experience handling a wide variety of civil litigation claims from case inception, discovery, trial and in dispute resolution forums such as mediation and arbitration. With an emphasis on complex construction claims, Kelly has concentrated her practice on representing owner/developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals. In addition to her dynamic construction law practice, Kelly is experienced in handling product liability, premises liability and automobile-related claims. 

Kelly engages in competitive equestrian competition showing of Arabian horses at the regional and national level. She is a board member of her local church, a Girl Scouts of America troop leader and a school volunteer.

Counsel for drywall installation subcontractors in litigation involving defective drywall imported from China. 

Facilitated the collection of $700,000 on payment bond claim for site work contractor client. 

Successful representation of subcontractor client in arbitration proceedings involving construction defect claims on a multifamily residential project. 

Negotiated and prepared multimillion-dollar construction industry−related contracts for private and public projects. 

Extensive experience with construction contract documents, such as the American Institute of Architects contracts, ConsensusDocs and Engineers Joint Contract Documents.
