Kiran K. Bal Associate




Kiran Bal defends hospitals, doctors and other health care professionals in medical malpractice matters and represents hospitals in general liability cases. Kiran participates in discovery and pretrial conferences, and analyzes medical records to help build solid defenses. She drafts comprehensive case analysis reports and handles all other aspects of litigation from inception of lawsuit through assisting at trial. 

Kiran represents major metropolitan hospitals and their affiliated physicians and other health care professionals in cases involving a broad range of medical and surgical disciplines, including orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology and anesthesiology. 

While in law school, Kiran worked as a judicial clerk in the Office of Children and Family Services and has multiple published decisions on child abuse and neglect cases. Additionally, Kiran was a member of the Cyber Harassment Clinic at New York Law School. During her tenure there, she argued for new legislation before the Department of Education on topics ranging from cyberbullying to general cyber safety.
