Lauren Looney Associate




Lauren Looney is a labor and employment attorney handling cases in all phases of litigation for clients consisting of private and public sector employers. Lauren attends to all aspects of federal and state employment discrimination cases and litigates claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and wage-and-hour laws. 

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Lauren’s practice primarily focused on complex litigation in various areas such as antitrust, employment class action matters and professional liability. 

During law school, Lauren clerked for the United States Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the Honorable Judge Joy Lobrano of the Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeal.

Representative Matters

Successfully defended suits against university for disability and gender discrimination claims under New York State Human Rights Law § 296-d.
