Magbis Sanchez Associate




Magbis Sanchez handles federal and state civil litigation, including admiralty/maritime and complex tort and general casualty. She also defends product liability, toxic tort, professional liability and commercial matters. She has been involved with bad faith, insurance and appellate issues in connection with all her areas of concentration. 

Prior to joining the firm, Magbis worked at a large Florida-based law firm handling cases pertaining to premises liability, product liability, toxic tort, negligent security, and auto and trucking liability. She also worked at a national litigation firm handling admiralty/maritime cases and cases arising out of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Additionally, Magbis worked for a complex commercial litigation firm dealing with high-profile cases regarding Bitcoin, intellectual property, international law and business law. 

Magbis served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Migna Sanchez-Llorens at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in the Civil Division and as an intern at the City of Miami – Office of the City Attorney. While attending law school, Magbis participated in the school’s study abroad program, where she spent a summer living and taking international and comparative law classes in Sevilla, Spain. 

Magbis has always been committed to giving back to the community. During law school, she received an award for outstanding contribution and work in the FIU Law Community Lawyering Clinic, and has volunteered her time at Camillus House and Miami-Dade Legal Aid.
