Marcia F. Przeslawski Associate




Marcia Przeslawski is a civil litigator and transactional attorney practicing law in Illinois and Indiana. Marcia’s current practice includes insurance defense of personal injury claims and various employment disputes involving discrimination. 

Marcia has represented business owners, individuals, corporations and not-for-profit corporations in a variety of commercial and employment disputes. She also has counseled clients on transactional matters including contract drafting and negotiation, real estate transactions, corporate governance, municipal governance, policy formation and various compliance issues. Additionally, Marcia has represented financial advisers and investors in matters filed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). 

During her law school career, Marcia was a teaching assistant for classes on contracts and torts and president of the Corporate Law Club, and she competed on the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution teams. She also gained practical experience while clerking in a litigation firm and enrolled in many of The John Marshall Law School’s legal clinics, including the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, the Business Enterprise Law Clinic, and The Fair Housing Support Center and Clinic. 

Marcia volunteers with University of Illinois Chicago School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Dispute Resolution program, coaching teams that compete nationally each spring and fall in negotiation, mediation and arbitration competitions.
