Monica Ishak Associate



Monica Ishak has deep experience in personal injury matters and first- and third-party insurance defense. She is acutely aware of the increasing economic pressures under which our clients conduct their businesses, and is committed to resolving claims quickly and efficiently. She regularly accesses centralized resources and firmwide talent to achieve innovative and cost-effective solutions to the most complex legal issues. Monica seeks to assist clients in preventing, mitigating and managing exposure through risk, crises, and claims and litigation management and scrupulously attends to every detail in preparing to defend them.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Monica worked at a civil litigation firm, where she sat second chair in a catastrophic personal injury liability trial in which a complete defense verdict was rendered. Monica also worked for a civil litigation and criminal defense firm, where she sat first chair on numerous trials ranging from simple contract disputes to vehicular manslaughter trials.

In law school, Monica was a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Bankruptcy Judge Jeff Bohm.
