Robin Gregory is a co-chair of the firm’s Medical Malpractice & Health Care Practice, focusing her litigation practice on the defense of complex, high-exposure Medical Malpractice claims. During her career, Robin has achieved more than 60 civil defense verdicts through meticulous preparation and an instinctive ability to forge a personal connection with the jury. Robin leads a team of Wilson Elser attorneys in defending hospitals and health care providers. Early in her career, she was a prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where she began her trial work and achieved tremendous results before Brooklyn juries.

Robin represents major metropolitan hospitals and their affiliated physicians and other health care professionals in cases involving a broad range of medical and surgical disciplines, including orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology and anesthesiology. She has a strong background in the field of organ transplantation and was the first attorney to represent the New York Organ Donor Network in consent-related cases. Robin also has experience in litigating nursing home cases, attorney liability claims and product liability matters.

In 2004, Robin was installed as a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. In 2020, she was one of 100 New Yorkers named to Crain’s New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Law. Robin has been consistently recognized as a Super Lawyer and Best Lawyer throughout her career. Prior to her current position at Wilson Elser, Robin was vice chair of the health care division of another national law firm. Robin has lectured at the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA) on numerous topics relating to trial strategy and resolution of cases. She also has presented continuing medical education (CME) programs to residents, interns and other health care professionals on handling medical malpractice claims and risk management.
