Rosa Ruiz represents major metropolitan hospitals and their affiliated physicians and other health care professionals in cases involving a broad range of medical and surgical disciplines, including orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology and anesthesiology. She defends medical malpractice cases, including all aspects of discovery, meeting with clients, and appearing in court conferences and motions.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Rosa worked for a medical malpractice firm. She also has experience trying cases in the courts of the State of New York.
While at Inter American University School of Law, Rosa authored two published articles for the annual Law Review. She also interned at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and studied International Law at the University of Communications in Beijing, China, as part of her study abroad program.
