Sabina Sadykhova handles general liability insurance defense matters. Over her nearly 10-year career, Sabina's experience includes practice in a broad range of areas such as personal injury, product liability, construction defect, business litigation, landlord-tenant law, employment and labor law, and civil rights law. Sabina has represented individuals and companies of all sizes on both sides of the bar, in all phases of litigation from pre-lawsuit investigation through trial. She has second-chaired a week-long personal injury jury trial in the Superior Court of California, Contra Costa County, and successfully resolved multiple cases in mediations. In addition, Sabina has drafted and successfully argued dispositive and trial motions, leading to positive outcomes for clients.

Sabina has extensive experience handling personal injury cases in the following industries: construction, transportation, retail and commercial leasing, government services and matters involving start-ups. 

Labor & Employment Law
Having represented businesses and business owners against a range of claims, Sabina has experience with wage-and-hour violations in state courts and hearings at the Division of Labor Standards and Enforcement; and prosecuting and defending sexual harassment and discrimination cases brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Fair Employment and Housing Act. She also has represented restaurants against claims of ADA violations in federal courts.

Business Litigation
Sabina has represented companies in various business litigation matters, including contractual and commercial disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, partnership disputes, lease disputes and general business counseling, including drafting of commercial leases.

Sabina has represented developers and contractors in complex commercial and residential construction defect matters, including large apartment communities and single-family home developments; construction accidents; and product liability claims.

Representative Matters

Defended a construction company in a complex multiparty premises liability case, and convinced the plaintiff to dismiss the lawsuit after conducting initial discovery. 

Successfully resolved a premises liability matter at mediation on behalf of a commercial property management company with the plaintiff and co-defendant, without any payment by our client.
