Samuel Weinstein represents employers in all phases of employment litigation. He is adept at advocacy on behalf of his client, verbally and in writing. Samuel has experience representing public school districts in labor negotiations and employment suits. He also has conducted investigations into and successfully defended claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination and a hostile work environment.

Samuel’s practice includes resolving employment disputes in court in addition to administrative forums such as the EEOC. Representations include discrimination and retaliation claims, sexual harassment allegations, and wage-and-hour suits.

Samuel clerked for Judge Kenneth Chu at the National Labor Relations Board during law school.

Representative Matters

Engaged in investigation and subsequent removal of employee accused of making remarks amounting to sexual harassment, racial discrimination and unlawful anti-union statements.

Defended suit against employer for wrongful termination alleging that school Board of Education had circumvented public employee’s employment rights under Civil Service Law section 75.
