Sara J. Papasidero Associate

Sara Papasidero handles a wide range of product liability cases for domestic and foreign manufacturers on a national basis, specializing in lawsuits and claims filed in the United States against Asian manufacturers. Sara’s principal experience includes defending cases involving pharmaceutical products, industrial machines, and consumer appliances that are designed and manufactured overseas.

Sara also works directly with clients in Asia and Brazil on risk management and product development issues, providing reports and advice regarding compliance with U.S. and European product liability regulations, standards and government requirements. As national counsel for foreign clients, Sara works with other attorneys in Wilson Elser’s network of offices and engages directly with local counsel to develop defense and resolution strategies, helping to ensure that these matters are handled diligently and that clients are kept informed. She also maintains a close relationship with attorneys in Europe and Brazil to act as monitoring counsel in lawsuits and claims against manufacturers abroad.

Sara began her affiliation with Wilson Elser early in her career as a law clerk on the Product Liability and Asian practice teams. Her experience includes a summer internship at the Nassau County District Attorney's office and serving as a law clerk for the Air Branch of the Environmental Protection Agency in New York City.
