Sarah Fink Associate




Sarah Fink focuses her practice on all types of intellectual property (IP) litigation, protection, transfer and licensing for patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, false advertising, and rights of publicity and privacy. Sarah’s practice particularly focuses on the unique areas of IP that arise in the online context. In addition, Sarah’s practice encompasses protecting and advising clients regarding all types of online communications, including drafting terms of use, privacy policies, and terms of sale; auditing websites for compliance with relevant federal and state laws; and navigating ADA online lawsuits regarding website accessibility. Sarah also counsels clients on IP-related matters, offering formal opinions and assisting clients in designing their IP development and protection strategies. 

Sarah has extensive experience litigating IP infringement actions in all forums, including federal court, state court, the International Trade Commission, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s TTAB and PTAB. She represents rights holders and challengers. Sarah also prosecutes trademark applications and patent applications for both utility and design patents. 

Sarah is a key contributor to the firm’s IP and internet practices, and she is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Practice, having many years’ experience litigating patents in the life sciences sector. Sarah enjoys writing and publishing articles concerning timely and practical issues that face businesses, particularly with respect to their online activities.
