Sarah Gallas Associate

Sarah Gallas focuses her practice on general liability, complex tort and general casualty, product liability, aviation and cybersecurity, as well as other areas. Sarah has defended clients in a variety of cases within these areas, including cases involving legal malpractice, asset purchase agreements, toxic tort and asbestos exposure, defective products and breach of warranty, aircraft crashes involving loss of business value and loss of life, privacy torts and the accidental disclosure of medical records, to name a few.

While she effectively manages the entire litigation process, Sarah understands that clients prefer quick and cost-effective resolutions to complex and potentially protracted liability cases. She seeks to accelerate turnaround through procedural dismissals, substantive dismissals, successful tenders and negotiated settlements. Sarah also has experience in all phases of discovery and trial preparation, including handling fact and expert witness depositions, drafting pretrial evidentiary motions and the selection of expert witnesses. She also makes use of proactive post-claim and post-suit risk assessment and mitigation techniques that can help close files quickly and efficiently.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Sarah represented national banks and mortgage servicers as a litigator in contested foreclosure actions. She also represented individuals in general real estate litigation matters.
