Sarah Davis practices in the firm’s Austin and Houston offices in the areas of personal injury defense, insurance coverage & claims handling, premises liability and toxic torts. Sarah has tried several high-profile personal injury cases to jury verdict, including cases in Brazoria, Jefferson and Smith counties, and she has tried cases in Harris, Galveston and Travis counties. Sarah has solid experience in insurance coverage, in particular mass tort and disaster-related claims handling and litigation.

Sarah’s legal work has included participating in the defense of international and Texas-based Engineering, Design and Construction (ED&C) entities and professionals in the fields of insurance, engineering, design, banking, real estate and health care.

Sarah also is an accomplished mediator, having received formal mediator training and mediated dozens of disputed legal matters for litigants throughout Southeast Texas.

Sarah was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2010 to represent the western portion of central Houston, which includes, among others, the communities of Bellaire, Braeswood Place, Meyerland, Rice Military, River Oaks, Southside Place, Timbergrove and her home in West University Place. In the Texas House Sarah serves as Chair of the Governmental Investigations and Ethics Committee, Chair of Article II of the Appropriations Committee, and on the Calendars Committee, which sets the legislative calendar.

A native of Sugar Land, Texas, Sarah debated in high school and at Baylor University. She is past president of the Houston Greater Heights Bar Association.
