Stephanie Freeman defends high-exposure, complex medical malpractice claims against health care systems, hospitals, nursing homes, doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. She represents major New York hospitals as well as large health care systems in surrounding counties. Specialists include cardiologists, gastroenterologists, infectious disease physicians, neurologists, ophthalmologists, surgeons and vascular disease physicians. Stephanie handles the day- to-day management of medical malpractice litigation from inception to disposition, including advocating in court, drafting motions, leading and defending depositions, conducting mediations and preparing for trials. She has drafted successful motions for summary judgment and dismissal in cases of high sustainable value, and second-chaired six cases in New York State Supreme Court to defense verdict. Stephanie is a peer mentor to junior associates firmwide on medical malpractice and various other areas of the law.

Stephanie lived in Sydney, Australia, for six months and worked as a parliamentary intern for an Upper House Member of the New South Wales Parliament, where she formulated an anti-smoking campaign that was presented to Parliament.
