Taylor O. Reed Associate




Taylor Reed concentrates her practice on defense of skilled nursing facilities, trucking companies, manufacturers and business owners of all sizes in personal injury, wrongful death and contract matters. Taylor began her practice working at a small plaintiff’s personal injury firm, handling all facets of litigation including drafting pleadings, written discovery and response, motions and responses to motions, taking witness and expert depositions, and trying 12 cases to jury verdicts in the Dallas‒Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Since joining Wilson Elser, Taylor has used her plaintiff-side experience and further developed her litigation skills, allowing her to efficiently assess matters and assist clients and insurers in determining the best paths to matter resolution. Taylor has resolved several matters through informal means and through thoughtful dispute resolution, argued contested matters in state and federal courts, and proactively keeps clients informed of opportunities to minimize liability and risks.

During law school, Taylor clerked for the Honorable Eric V. Moye, 14th Civil District Court for the State of Texas, and the Honorable Justice James R. Winchester of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. She was the recipient of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation Chapman-Rogers Scholarship, the Oklahoma City Association of Black Lawyers McKinley Rowan Memorial Scholarship, and the Fellers Snider Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship. Taylor was included in The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 for Texas 2020.
