Vanessa Fuerth focuses her practice on defense of construction and casualty-related claims. Having represented one of the largest structural steel erectors s in the United States, she has years of experience in defending personal injury claims rooted in the Labor Law. Vanessa has a deep understanding of the complicated relationship between owners, contractors and subcontractors and how it significantly alters the complexion of a construction-based lawsuit.

Vanessa is well versed in all aspects of litigation; she has conducted numerous depositions, appeared in almost all New York venues and engaged in trial work. As a seasoned lawyer, she employs her skill set to address issue resolution to meet each client’s unique needs. It is through a deep understanding of the law coupled with knowledge of the ever-evolving business realities of clients that Vanessa is able to provide the balance between excellent representation and cost-effective results. Vanessa’s history with Wilson Elser runs deep. She worked as a summer associate in the firm’s Newark office and then as an associate in the New York Office for four years. After working in another insurance defense firm for 10 years, Vanessa returned to the firm with an even richer skill set.

Vanessa served as a Constitutional Law tutor to Judge John J. Gibbons at Seton Hall Law School and interned for Judge William Bassler, then a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
