Wesley A. Wong Associate




Wesley Wong is a litigation attorney who focuses his practice on general liability insurance defense matters. He has experience defending insurers and their insureds, specifically in construction defect claims. Notably, Wesley represented the general contractor of a luxury multifamily development in Marin County, California, in a $100 million construction defect dispute with the developer and certain specialty subcontractors. 

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Wesley worked in a variety of roles in business, law and compliance and seeks to use his varied experiences to solve the needs of his clients efficiently and effectively. Most recently, Wesley worked as a litigation associate defending construction companies in a variety of matters at a mid-sized firm in San Francisco, California. He also gained significant experience in regulatory compliance while working for several multinational financial services institutions and serving on the board of the Risk Management Association, Golden Gate Chapter. 

During law school, Wesley was a judicial extern to the Honorable Cynthia Ming-mei Lee in the San Francisco Superior Court's Presiding Judge's Department and Appellate Division and served as legal research assistant to Professor Edith Ho. In addition, he participated in the American Bar Association's Law Student Tax Challenge (tax moot court) and assisted small investors in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations as a member of the Investor Justice Clinic.
