Bethany Spiro represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on defending claims related to general liability, premises liability, and personal injury litigation.


Bethany brings more than a decade of high-stakes litigation and extensive courtroom experience. Before joining Wilson Elser, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she investigated and prosecuted serious felony offenses. A seasoned trial attorney, she has managed hundreds of investigations and tried numerous cases to verdict. She rose to Deputy Bureau Chief of the Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Bureau, where she oversaw the caseloads of Assistant District Attorneys, advising on investigations and trial strategy.
