William Gay (Of Counsel-Los Angeles, CA) presented a Lorman webinar on September 20, 2024, covering the rights and obligations of property managers and HOAs regarding marijuana on their premises. The various stages of cannabis cultivation, refinement and sale present a novel range of challenges for homeowners’ associations and property managers, as well as the people they represent. Bill’s presentation helped the persons responsible for HOAs and for management of residential, industrial and commercial properties, to identify and address challenges in a manner that minimizes risk while not unreasonably constraining legitimate business activities.
