How can I apply for a position at Wilson Elser?
We encourage all persons interested in a position at the firm to browse our Current Opportunities. If you do not see a position listed that matches your qualifications, you may submit an application for future consideration.

What happens after I submit a resume and application?
Wilson Elser’s Human Resources team will review your application and resume, and if your skills and experience match an open position, will contact you. If you do not hear from us, there are no positions at present that are a match. We encourage you to search the site often as new positions open up throughout our 38 offices nationwide.

Workplace Questions

Does the firm pay for attorneys’ bar dues?
We offer reimbursement of dues for any one bar – state or national – of an attorney’s choosing.

How is performance evaluated?
Wilson Elser attorneys participate in an annual Performance Review & Compensation Program, which includes a self-evaluation and direct supervisor and indirect supervisor evaluation components. Our attorneys frequently receive performance feedback from their direct supervisors throughout the year.

Will I be able to work on pro bono matters?
Pro bono initiatives are strongly supported by firm through its Pro Bono Committee. While eligible attorneys and legal assistants are encouraged to assist organizations included on a preferred list, they may also submit other pro bono opportunities to the committee for consideration.

The firm offers complimentary emergency backup child care services at Bright Horizons Family Solutions locations throughout the country.

Do you offer wellness programs?
In conjunction with our medical benefits provider, we offer various wellness programs and initiatives, including but not limited to weight management programs, discounted gym memberships, health assessments and biometric screenings.

Does the firm have a paid time off policy?
The firm offers a generous paid time off package in addition to national and other paid holidays.
